Despite the “Inn” in the Riley’s Inn name, we are not a hotel. We are not a motel. We are proud to call ourselves one exceptional Lakewood dive bar. Drinks are flowing and conversations are brewing. Pull up a seat at the bar and watch some sports, grab a seat on the outside patio and enjoy some great Colorado weather, or stay inside and play some shuffleboard or shoot some pool with one of the regulars. If you just want to get away from the noise of the world and play your favorite tune, we have just the jukebox for you. Whether you’re an out of towner or a local, we welcome you to make a memory at Riley’s Inn.

THE CHEAPEST WHORE ON COLFAX

Laurie is one bad ass Massachusetts lady. Over 3 decades ago, Laurie planned to come to Colorado for 6 months. She never left. With experience as a server at the Village Inn, serving at the memorable Caldonia’s, Food and Beverage Director at a local hotel, a stint at the Grizzly Rose when Garth Brooks was the opening act for Chris Ledoux, and then 26 years at K and Ko’s (Valverde Country Club) where she meets lifelong friends and even met her husband. This is where she developed her passion and grit that led her to purchasing her own bar on July 31, 2008. Certainly not the easiest journey running Riley’s Inn, but Laurie is proud to say this hard work has helped put her two kids through college at CSU (expect to see CSU games playing at the bar!). Besides being self-proclaimed, as the cheapest whore of Colfax, you might hear Laurie say, “l have no shame in my game baby!”

RILEY CRAZIES AND ONE KNUCKLEHEAD

Even if you are a first-time guest, after only a few words exchanged with our staff and the regulars, you will quickly be embraced to the group of Riley crazies. Although, word on the street says there is most definitely more than one knucklehead here at Riley’s Inn, there is one individual special character here named “Knuckles”. We welcome you to say hi to Knuckles when you are here. Although Knuckles won’t have too much to say, with the Riley Crazies and manager Shirley, you never know what you will hear being discussed but you can expect there to be some spicy topics. Lots of laughs, handshakes and new friends to be had here at Riley’s Inn. Everyone is welcome at Riley’s, no matter age, race, sexual orientation, we love you all.
